Third Party Funded Projects

Strecon A/S is lead partner of the ElectrolyzerManufacturing innovation project supported by Danmarks Erhvervsfremmebestyrelse with funds from the European Regional Development Fund under REACT-EU (Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe).

The ElectrolyzerManufacturing project focuses on manufacturing equipment and molds for efficient and competitive production of electrolyzers. It is a feasibility study. In a first experimental phase, it develops and tests production technology and equipment concepts for the efficient and competitive manufacturing of electrolyzers. The work includes innovative processes for the production of molds that are necessary in the production of a number of electrolyzer components.

The ElectrolyzerManufacturing project contributes to innovation development and market maturation of electrolysis as a green key technology for hydrogen production with use of power from renewable energy sources. Thereby, the target is to assist in enabling Power-to-X (PtX) production and manufacturing of PtX products, which today are far from competitive with the fossil alternatives.

The ElectrolyzerManufacturing project runs from August 2022 to August 2023. The financial project partners are Strecon A/S, Alsform Værktøjsfabrik ApS, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), and Sønderborg Vækstråd.
